3huhyeah3 •. I had my wipers go out on my 2018 sedan during my drive yesterday. On the way to the dealership, I could get the wipers to work intermittently. It seemed like when I put them on auto, that was what would bring them back to not working. The dealership had to order a F-BCM for replacement.
This morning I turned my wipers on, they move 2-3 inches and stopped. I've done some searching and found references to fuse 9 and fuse 11. As my fusebox cover is in Japanese, I decided to visual check all the fuses in the cabin. All good. Oh. More searching later, the blower motor works, the washer pump works so I now assume it's the motor?
Safelite replaced the glass and after some discussion determined that I didn't need to recalibrate the sensor (laser) (and save $300)for the collision avoidance device. This device is built in or directly behind the windshield. I have some recollection where Mazda required re-calibration with new glass.

2015 Mazda 3 iSport 6-M/T. Jan 16, 2014. #2. The fuse marked P/W is for your power windows, and not for the wipers. I believe the fuse in question is the one on the fuse box inside the car marked "F. WIP" and it's a 20 Amp fuse. I'm not sure if that's a fuse for the wiper motors or for the sprayers, or both.
Had this on 2010 Escape. SOLVED! My rear wiper motor was fused, draining my battery. I pulled the fuse. Washer fluid pump still working… A week later I removed the bad rear wiper motor ( on the glass of the hatch), getting ready to replace it the next day. After I unplugged the power to the rear motor, MY WIPER FLUID PUMP WOULD NOT WORK.

put your multimeter across the fuse and ground (ignition on) - see voltage ? good, no ? figure out why. find the wiper motor, and the wires going to it. this service manual is for a NB, but I suspect the motor testing details (and the motors) are the same. No volts there ? something between the fuse and the motor is broken so: check the switch.

I found my problem to be a combination of bad (loose connection) at the plug on the wiring harness that plugs into the wiper motor housing as well as bad solder connections inside the motor housing from the female plug to the wiper motor control board.

If that still does not work, verify that you have voltage to the wiper motor when they don't work. If voltage and ground are present, replace the wiper motor. You can also turn the wiper switch on, with car running. Grab the wiper arms and manually try to make them wipe. If the motor starts working, replace the motor.

If that is the case the auto wiper mode isn't working as I've driven the car in the rain with the wipers set in intermittent or auto mode and other than the initial pass when turned on they don't do anything until I move the control to either low, high or turn off the intermittent/auto mode and turn it back on.
