Mainly because most people play competive multiplayer with 0 mods, so when you try to join with something they don't have it simply it won't let you. The nature of strategy games means that in multiplayer the game can only process as fast as the slowest computer. Think of it like a team race in which your team has to reach checkpoints at the same time, so your top speed is limited to what the slowest person can do, even if you have 9 olympic sprinters in your team they are going to be slowed

Multiplayer refers to game modes where two or more people play the Total War: Warhammer series together over the internet. To play together, both players MUST be playing the same game (TWW1 or TWW2) with the same patch/update version. Each player requires their own separate copy of the game, and a Steam account. But it depends on how you play the Factions, Rome is by far the most Powerful, but they lack Good Skirmishers, and Cavalry, which they must get in Auxillary recruitments (They also don't have Factional Mercenaries).

Rome II constant campaign crashes. Rome II. This also happens in Thrones of Brittania. At the end of every campaign battle and occasionally at the end of every turn Rome II randomly quits to desktop with no warning at all. This happens at the end of campaign battles regardless and has a 50-50 chance of happening at the end of every custom battle.

Not to mention the huge missed opportunity of developing Total War’s multiplayer, an issue that’s plagued modern installments since Rome 2. In the end, Warhammer does serve an important role List of troubleshooting SEGA recommended that has NOT worked for me: - Opt out of any betas and verify game cache (Wasn't in any betas) - Fresh install of latest NVIDIA drivers. - Update Windows to 21h1. - Play game from alternative admin account on local PC in case of 'software conflict'.
