Except this is my first smartphone and finding reliable info on how the fuck you do this has been very difficult. I've heard Huawei stopped providing bootloader keys a while ago, but some random thread seemed to give a way to counter-act that, except it was meant for the P8/P8 Lite and didn't actually say if it worked on the 2017 model

hello, I am EXTREMELY annoyed with the fact that, despite different settings, every app still gets saved into internal storage and not on the much bigger sd card. internet told me that I can only transfer the apps to the sd card with a rooted device. so I wanna root it (is from,*badumm tss* 2017 and therefor no guarantee anymore, so no worry.
Yeah, i am currently testing the Nougat beta for the P9 Lite and the feature is there so they will surely add it back for the P8L 2k17. I have the original P8. I can move apps to SD Card , but after an App update , the App is moved back to the internal storage. I don't think you can move apps permanently. Then you have to disable automatic app
