Yes AC Origins has shit optimization. Every time this question is asked a few people defend it, but if you look at the benchmarks performance is terrible. Assassins Creed has never run well on PC unfortunately. Ubisoft's ports as a whole aren't as bad as they used to be, but AC is still one series where they need to do a ton of improvement.
Inassassin's creed origins you are running the whole time when you are moving forward but when i am in the open world with no quest pinned i am walking really slow. Normally you use right mouse button for bow aiming and left mouse button for sword attacks. Diving up you do with W plus climb (I put climb on space and dodge to double tap WASD), works much better in my opinion. Thecontrols feel underwhelming. How is there not a sprint or jump button. If feel so constricted and sluggish. I know this is probably a little thing for other people, but it is breaking my game in a very real way. Its just not fun to move arround.

Iwiped my computer yesterday and have only installed steam, AC:O and like 2 other games. Cpu and gpu both around 25% usage. that is odd, was getting 100% using an FX8320 not OCed and a 970, everything was at 100% and running around 35-50FPS on high setting. Even installed it on a cheap WD Green 1TB.

HonestlyI think the more important issue is whether the Game can function on PC, and not have minimum specs like a 970 because Ubisoft can't care to optimize. Even then, of the games I've played with DX12, (and it may just be my PC), it makes them run worse, most notably Battlefield 1, which runs about 15 FPS slower with Direct X 12. 1920x1080- Medium Impact. 2560x1440 - High Impact. 3840Ă—2160 - Very High Impact.
